After baby is born, moms are moved from the second floor Labor and Delivery suites to the third floor of the tower to be pampered in one of the Medical Center of Lewisville's 28 all-private postpartum rooms, a wonderful place to bond with your new baby. We encourage each mom to keep her baby with her most of the day, if that is her preference. We call this "rooming in." If Mom chooses, at night we'll care for baby in the nursery and let Mom get some much-needed rest. During this time, we'll only bring baby to Mom for feedings.
